A Passport is a Girl's Best Friend

As Duane and I were planning our wedding and figuring out details, we started looking for a place to take our honeymoon. In true Sarah from, I found the place we would take our honeymoon before the actual site for our wedding. We (I) had decided on Belize, specifically, Hamanasi Adventure and Dive Resort located in Hopkins, for 10 days 9 nights. This trip was truly amazing. Hamanasi was probably one of the best resorts I have ever stayed in. The food, people, accommodations, activities and property are above and beyond. This winter Duane and I went in on a ski lease with 9 of his Google co-workers/friends in South Lake Tahoe. Honestly, it was a great decision. Coupled with our Tahoe Local Season Pass, we have been spending quiet a bit of time up in the mountains this season, which is a welcomed break from the craziness of the bay. For example, this weekend we escaped the bay for a long weekend and drove up here on Wednesday night. Thursday and Friday we took full advantage of the small crowds and hit the slopes at Heavenly. The snow was mediocre and slushy in the afternoon, but regardless, it was nice to get some skiing in and enjoy the fresh air. Saturday we (I) thought it would be a great idea to have a change of pace and go for a hike. I found a great trail with great reviews that went up to the peak of Mt. Tallac. Today Duane and I drove up to Bodega Bay for a crab feed at the Grange. One hour to eat endless amounts of Cioppino and Italian vinegar crab. To. Die. For. To top it off, it was a beautiful warm "winter" day and the California coast was absolutely stunning. Getting ready Making the Cioppino crab. My favorite Someone was ready to eat!! Went for a walk to the beach to walk off our full bellies DANGER DANGER DANGER Pretty beach And to top off the weekend. My new toy. Picked it up last night and got to drive it up the California coast on a beautiful day. This weekend could not get any better!!
