Summer is here and that means Tahoe. Hello my second home, I have missed you. We went up to the mountains again for D's birthday. This time D and I went up early and worked from the cabin, Friday the Motts and Carrie joined us for a weekend of fun in the sun. The last few days have been nuts. A few months ago I was invited to give a presentation at a conference in Indiana and Friday was the day. Thursday afternoon I few out to Indianapolis to drive a few hours to the conference. I presented bright and early at 8 am to over 200 health care providers. By 1pm I was back on the road to the airport, boarding my plane to Minneapolis at 4pm, landing by 5pm and picked up by my group by 5:15. My group. This trip has been in the works since January when Duane's college buddy was getting married which inevitably brought together the whole frat group. It really didn't take much convincing to get the 3 native CA couples to buy tickets to spend memorial day weekend with our friends (also native Californians) in Minneapolis (poor Minneapolis).
